5DM031: ARMATURE MODEL 1

This post shows the working progress of cyclops armature with the use of beading wire to form the shape based on the planning sketch. Then I start to fill up the shapes and body parts with thin rolls of paper, masking tape and lastly thin layers of plasticine so this would enable the main colour scheme to be shown to what I'm aiming for and make sure the figure isn't too heavy to stand.

5DM031: workflow of cyclops puppet (3) gestures and poses

This post will show my drawings of how my character would move with the help of the foundation of its design flow from the use of shapes. This also shows experimental ways of choosing the personality I want for the character in the final cut after creating the stop motion puppet of the cyclops.

The second one would be the main movements I would consider as the aim for the module is to show composition of techniques and shoot it in high quality over quantity since its going to be minimum of 30 seconds.

This post will also show my own though design process and adaptation of Andrew Taylor's stop motion monkey.

5DM031: backdrop tests

This post shows initial test runs for creating forest based backgrounds through Photoshop to be incorporated with the rest of this animation's elements as the brief states that we need to focus on quality over quantity.

What we did mainly was merging pictures together to create a dynamic and different scenario and also we had played around with the program's filters top give it a different look and perspective.
