•Harley Quinn (DC Comics batman universe, tv shows, films and comics)

Harley quinn describe in most scenario psychopathic maniac with a fixation and obsession with the notorious joker who acts as his sidekick and devoted girlfriend.
In the beginning, she was known as Harleen Quinzel. A psychiatric intern at the mental institute Arkham Asylum who had reasons in joining as she wanted to understand the criminal mind and find a reason why her father did what he did for her family through being a con-man. This was through being a model student with additional high grades in college, dedication to being a gymnast and even winning a scholarship at the Gotham city University. But one thing she truly lacked the ability was making friends from using people as test subjects and tricking her way into college. This type of characteristic is how she fell in the clutches of the joker. Whilst in the first year of her internship at the asylum, studying and researching the lunatics, she became fixated and fascinated with one inmate.
The fixation started by ambitiously volunteering to analyze the joker for three months out of curiosity on how his mind works after pleading to the doctors not to treat him until they can understand him. But it truly began when the joker took pity on her after she was telling stories about her life. This in turn led to him seducing her which made her madly in love with him because this made her think that she has finally found someone that can truly understand her. This led to harleen breaking him out of Arkham and became his sidekick and lover calling herself 'Harley Quinn'. What makes her personality different is that she uses an exterior of hyper-active, playful and witty nature to hide her dark motives and devotion to do anything the joker says.

Over time, the joker and harley's complex relationship became the central scenario of all their schemes and dangerous raids on the Gotham streets against the GCPD and Batman. The love affairs became even more dangerous through joker's abusive and manipulative nature as this made Harley more insane than before. But this didn't bother harley as she would do or be anything to seek joker's approval through unpredictable violence. But in truth she is just another victim to the joker.

Fish Mooney
(Gotham (2014), recent hit prequel tv series, new character inspired by the themes, characteristics and personalities of popular icons in DC Comics' Batman Universe)

A recent new villain I'm taking interest in is the hot-tempered, notorious and imposing gang boss, mob-stress and henchman Fish mooney who own a nightclub that does shady business for the territory that is owned by her boss Cramine Falcone. She runs the red light district with ease, despite heavy presence of the rival Italian mafia.
What makes her unique for having a serious role in the criminal empire is through how she can play people to an extent so they can fulfil certain roles for her and makes her charismatic and ruthless leader. She also has a sense of street smarts to survive against dangerous competition aswell as retaining her own reputation in front of her own men that serve her needs.

At the present moment in the show, her ultimate intentions is to take over the falcone crime family as she views Carmine Falcone weak, old and makes rash decisions when it concerns the whole organization. But also she has had a bitter hatred for the man from a very young age as her mother was a prostitute who served falcone's sexual desires. Another reason she would want to take over is that she was bullied and taken advantage of in her young life but now she grew away from that, toughened up and wants to prove herself and tell the world that she isn't someone to be trifled with. As to this, she would do anything to move to the top of the food chain. From Hiring a girl as a weapon to perfectly infiltrate falcone's home and gain his trust to gain conclusive information that fish can use to take falcone down; even turning his own men against him and bringing them to her fold.

•Ursula (Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid, 1989)
This villain adaptation was based on the sea witch character in Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tale story of the same name. What makes this adaption more popular in the film is that she has a major role in the overall plot. This helped her become one of the most popular characters and villains in Disney feature film history in the last 30 years.
Her character is dark, sinister, intimidating and manipulative to reach her goals. She is a master of deception when fooling the other sea creatures and merpeople into fill their desires but in turn it slowly fills her own ideals. Ultimately, all this is to fill her true purpose into gaining power through the trident and ruling the ocean.
What I find interesting about her personality is how she intimidates people with a false appearance of politeness and fills their heads with half truths when she ''helps'' the merpeople fill their intentions and true purposes within the contracts she gets them to sign. This is turn fills her more power intelligence and determination to achieve her desires at a quick progression.

Cersie Lannister
(Game of thrones tv series; A song of fire and Ice continued book series)

This female villian is one of the central antagonists of the popular tv series and the bestseller books. In the show she is portrayed by lena Headey. In both mediums, she is ruthless, calculating, arrogant and vicious when it comes to retaining her reputation and not letting anyone trample all over her.
Throughout the story she becomes one of the central figures in power at King's Landing, the capital city of the seven Kingdoms. After becoming a widow to the late king Robert Baratheon, she became queen regent and after her husband's death, she instantly put her first born Joffery Baratheon on the Iron Throne before he came of age under a false claim. This is because joffery and her two other children Myrcella and Tommen weren't Robert's but were products of incest from the sexual relationship between cersei and her twin brother Jamie Lannister. She always wants to prove to her father, tywin lannister that she can be strongly involved in politics, by being something more than sold off to marriage proposals like a whore. As tywin never took any interest in her and her younger brother tyrion when they were kids but only in the golden boy Jamie. She has a deep hatred for her dwarf brother tyrion Lannister after his birth killed their mother. She views everyone except her family as enemies.
I like from her character that she thinks she is ambitious, wilful and cunning in handling political turmoil after scheming her way into power but in truth she has no idea how to run a kingdom in the right way for the people and is only in for her own benefits. Even using the crown to oppose any house that threatened her rule in any way or doing anything without question.
But what I find more fascinating about her is how she abuses the power she is given from her poor judgement, impatience and short-sightedness when it comes to decision making through the events of the plot. This would create consequences to the people from her actions and what's worse is that she wouldn't care as long as it fills her desires and fits her goals. But when things don't go her way like being cut off from decision making because of her gender; other families worming their way into the power game like house tyrell or events that affect her children, she responds with either paranoia, delusion, jealousy, vengeance or distrust. Worse still she lacks the patience to listen to advice that's extremely important to the kingdom and surrounds herself with sycophants and dangerous advisors that would threaten the kingdom's structure when her delusion sets in.
Another thing that like about her personality as a villain is that she is one of the biggest hypocrites in the plot. This is from how she displays that she loves her children deeply but in truth she doesn't give any guidance or discipline to any of them. This in turn created joffery's self-centred attitude and vicious rule. Especially when he was the only one she ever took any interest in but his ruthless personality only came from cersei letting him do whatever he wanted without any sort of punishment. Ironically, when she gloated her husband's lifestyle and physique, over time she started to do the same things as he did when she become queen regent. This included frequent drinking, extravagant events which drowned the crown into debt and sex with her own flesh and blood or others of different family lines which serves as distractions to the pressure of ruling a troubled kingdom.

Character and script idea 2 (Lady Margaret of the Dawn House)

As the smug talking stops and the music ceases, the crowd and employees gaze their eyes towards the top of the stairs of the hall. I can see who they are looking at. The owner and host of this astonishing but over the top gathering and celebration. Lady Margaret of the Dawn house, a wealthy but mysterious family that came out of the blue. But I can see that this young woman, even if nobody notices or that they are too dumb struck to notice that this woman like to makes an entrance, even for one younger than the guests. She’s wearing the most expensive dress and jewellery out of all her guests in the hall. Bright like diamonds shining across the room and looks soft as silk fabrics with accessories so rare, people have never seen the likes of them before.

As she makes her way down the stairs into the main hall with her bodyguards in tow, I can see from her body language and her motion without words that she views herself as the most important person in the room. Showing off her elegance and beauty towards the guests like it was the best thing they experienced. They gather towards her like she was a goddess, greeting themselves to her. But I take no interest in bending the knee, all I see is a woman, famous for her inheritance.

As the guests keep greeting, I notice something odd. Under the make-up they wear, they seem to be showing clear signs of sweat around their faces. This either shows they are nervous to be in the presence of something of such importance or they are showing another sign of anxiety, fear.

Next thing I know, I overhear one of the guests say to her ‘It’s wonderful to meet you in person, I’ve heard so much about you and your family, I hope you and I can be good acquaintances’ he said with a stammer and nervous tone in his voice. But I see that Margaret brushed him aside with a flick of her jewelled wrist, taking no interest in him whatsoever, displaying no sense of emotion as she proceeds to greet the next guest. This shows a clear sign that she is a bored woman.

Throughout the party, I watch carefully what she’s doing whilst I’m talking to the other guests. She seems to be examining her guests, sipping her expensive wine and whispering in each of her bodyguards’ ears with the look in her face of suspicion and dread. But all were distracted when they heard the shatter of glass upon the floor of the hall. One the servants was is a state of shock when he realised what he had done but I saw that he was further traumatized as Margaret angrily shoots her way towards him.

As I take a closer look, the servant seems to be in form of pain with the facial expression of shaking and tightness when she gets closer to him. But I don’t see any psychical aggression towards him as I am too far away from the exchange but I do hear an exchange of threatening and loud words to the servant. ‘What the hell do you think you’re doing, you’re going to make me a laughing stock’ she says before getting further angry when the servant tries to apologise. But she continues whilst interrupting his apologises ‘no excuse, you are ruining my gathering’. She pauses, as to show that she’s thinking what to do next, before directing her eyes towards her guards ‘men, take this man away, I deal with you later’.

But the exchange of words and the handling of the situation made things far worse. Margaret keeps her cruel and emotionless exterior in front of her guests as the servant is being dragged away, kicking and screaming. What shocked me more is how he begged her that he would do better and saying that he has a family to take care of and be with. When he was dragged out of the hall, everyone carried on like nothing even happened. It felt like that they were thinking they would suffer the same fate if they did something wrong towards the host. This made me wonder how a family that came out of the blue could get into power so quickly. What made this young, selfish and arrogant child become a feared figure towards her guests and her employees? But worst of all, if she is so feared that people would take no note of what happens, what punishment does she have in store for people who ruffle her feathers and for those who cross her the wrong way and threaten her power?

Character and Script idea 1 (Carson)

Every time I enter the gym, I’ve always felt uncomfortable when going to use equipment where this strange man goes. But what makes me more uncomfortable about him is not how he would lurk around being a fearful, tough figure towards people but how he doesn’t connect with people; how nobody knows what he sounds like because he never speaks to anyone and how he’s always alone, practically he’s a ghost because nobody who has ever seen him knows anything about him. No one knows his name, his past or any indication of where he might. But people like to make gossip and make their own theories on who this loner is from time to time.

Over time I’ve listened and spoken to people that have said they overheard rumours and stories, all with their different versions to others even if they are either true or false. Most said that his name is Carson and that he was a soldier, scarred in battle, either physically or mentally which could explain how he doesn’t talk to people or how we have never seen him make friends; an informant who could as well as be undercover right at this moment or that he was. Some even said that he was a mob boss or a crook who might have shady connections or has a dark past that he would like to forget went wrong.

People have also said that when they have spotted him changing, they have noticed scarring all over his back. My thoughts on would indicate that if the stories I’ve heard relate, that he was injured in battle or tortured when things. They’ve even said that they heard him express sounds of pain when he moved in the wrong motion when he’s changing his cloths. This would indicate that some of the scarring or all of the major ones are recent.

On one occasion, I tried to talk to the man. Saying the most common things that people would say when they first meet like ‘hello’, ‘how are you’ or ‘how come I’ve never seen you around here before’? But all what I got responded was grunts and stares of disinterest of talking to anybody. This made me feel uncomfortable but also sad and curious to know why he’s like this.

Eventually, things started to get ugly when one of gym members got to the point of becoming fed up with the disinterest attitude and making everyone uneasy to his presence. I was there on the day and saw the exchange between the two men. This was a mistake that the angry gymnast did towards Carson. As I saw that this man is someone not to be fooled around with. This was in terms of his cringing, muted silence but clearly most of all is his brute strength that he possesses that could put the gymnast in his place.

All the angry gymnast said was ‘hey, I’m getting sick and tired of you making everyone extremely uncomfortable, I feel that you don’t belong here. So why don’t you get lost before you make people further uneasy’. What I saw next was more shocking. Carson didn’t exchange any words but instead exchanged with his fists and knocked the other man onto the floor with blood pouring from his nose with clear and quick signs of deep bruises on his face. The fight was broken up as soon as it began with two other men picking up the angry gymnast from the floor but do not dare to restrain Carson out of fear. All we knew he just walked away, carried on with his usual exercising routine in silence and then left through the door after an hour of the violent exchange.
